Doctor of Philosophy Degree Programme

Admission Requirements

Applicants must possess an MSc or MPhil degree from a recognised university. The first degree of the applicant should not be lower than a 2nd Class Upper or its equivalent. An outline of a research proposal should accompany the application.

• Course Work

Courses to be taken by students in PhD programme will be determined by the advisory committee. There is also ample opportunity to take courses which lead to a broader perspective of the candidate and to aid the candidate in research and or in the analysis of the data collected from the research. The program is to take a minimum of two years and a maximum of four years.
