Vision

The vision of the Department of Chemical Engineering at KNUST is to achieve nationally, regionally and internationally recognized undergraduate Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering programmes for development; producing high caliber graduates with knowledge and expertise to support the industrial and socio-economic development of Ghana in particular and Africa as a whole.

MIssion

Our mission is to provide an environment for teaching and research in the area of chemical and petrochemical engineering and entrepreneurship training for the industrial and socio-economic development of Ghana in particular and Africa as a whole.

We aim to develop engineers who will be successful in their careers, able to address technological and societal challenges and prepare them for both life-long learning and further advance studies.

We also offer service to community; we are opened to all people of Ghana and positioned to attract scholars and industrialists from international communities
